Everfield, a long-term investor and growth accelerator for European B2B software companies, has acquired aequitixx, a German provider of cloud-based e-invoicing solutions for large hospitals and clinics.
aequitixx was founded by Jochen Roeser and Wolfgang Swonke in Rheda-Wiedenbrück in 2008 and has developed a versatile platform that enables healthcare facilities to automate invoice processing and eliminate manual workflows.
aequitixx’s flagship solution, wi[KI]class, seamlessly integrates with accounting, finance, ERP, facility management, and inventory systems, saving time and increasing operational efficiency and accuracy. The platform’s modular design allows customers to extend functionality beyond core e-invoice automation, with add-ons for intercompany invoicing, compliance, Procure-to-Pay, and advanced reporting.
By minimizing manual accounting tasks and accelerating invoice processing, aequitixx helps more than 120 hospitals and medical care centers in Germany and across Europe operate more smoothly and maintain full control over their finances.
aequitixx will continue under the leadership of André Langner, who has been part of the business since its founding and assumed the role of Managing Director in 2025. He will continue to work alongside founder Wolfgang Swonke who will remain on board and will continue to contribute his expertise and experience.
