Everfield, a long-term investor and growth partner for European B2B software businesses, has welcomed CIM Software, a leading manufacturing ERP provider, into its ecosystem.
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Southampton, CIM Software has become the trusted solution for more than 500 manufacturers across the UK and Ireland, delivering software that provides a broad suite of ERP and MRP functionalities for Sage 50 and Sage 200 customers.
Its core products, Cim50 and Cim200, include essential manufacturing modules, such as stock control, production planning, works orders, bills of materials, quotations, graphical scheduling, and shop floor data capture. Cim200, developed for Sage 200 Professional, builds on this foundation with additional advanced features like multi-warehouse management to support more complex operations and high-growth manufacturing environments.
CIM Software’s long-standing partnership with Sage, highlighted by its Sage Tech Partner Plus status, has made its solutions the preferred upgrade path for manufacturers following the retirement of Sage’s native manufacturing modules. With Sage 50 Manufacturing discontinued in 2021 and Sage 200 Manufacturing set to retire by the end of 2025, CIM’s seamless integrations and specialised migration tools position Cim50 and Cim200 as the recommended choice for businesses modernising their ERP and manufacturing systems within the Sage ecosystem.
Joining Everfield marks an exciting new chapter for CIM Software, equipping the company with the resources and strategic support to broaden its product portfolio, accelerate innovation, and continue delivering leading ERP solutions for manufacturers.
CIM Software will continue under the leadership of Stuart Rowcliffe, Managing Director, alongside its existing management team, ensuring continuity and stability for customers and partners.
“I’m incredibly proud of everything the team at CIM Software has achieved and the strong relationships we’ve built with our customers and partners. Joining Everfield gives us the opportunity to accelerate the development of our products, strengthen the services we provide, and invest in long-term innovation, while continuing to deliver the same trusted solutions that our customers rely on,” commented Stuart Rowcliffe.
James Moore, Deal Lead and Country Manager for UK&I at Everfield, added, "CIM Software has earned a strong reputation as a leading provider of ERP software solutions for hundreds of UK&I manufacturers, delivering scalable and comprehensive solutions that are integral to their operations. We are impressed by the team’s deep industry expertise and commitment to their customers. Having tracked CIM’s progress over a number of years, we have built a strong relationship with Stuart and are excited to support him and the wider CIM team as they accelerate their growth and broaden their product suite.”
This partnership marks Everfield’s third investment in the UK&I manufacturing software sector, reinforcing its presence and expertise in the MRP market and expanding its ecosystem of specialised solutions for businesses across Europe.
