Founded in 2000 and based in Berlin, selly was one of the first to digitise procurement in institutional catering and hospitality. Its selly Foodservice Cloud is a multi-supplier ordering and procurement platform used by more than 13,500 users in hospitals, senior care homes, daycare centres and company restaurants.
On the supply side, more than 200 wholesalers and food manufacturers are connected to the platform.
The platform covers ordering, recipe and menu planning, inventory, reporting and a mobile app. EU-compliant product data feeds recipe costing, nutritional values and allergen declarations, and open interfaces connect to POS, accounting and production systems. Together, its modules cover most of the foodservice procure-to-pay chain, as well as complex kitchen processes.
